Notes for Parents

  • The children will receive a sausage on a hot dog roll & can of soft drink for lunch

  • Additional sausages & rolls have been ordered and will be available to siblings & parents for a gold coin donation. (I cannot guarantee that we can cater for everyone on the day as I have no way of knowing how many people will attend)
  • A limited canteen will be run on the day selling drinks, tea & coffee at reduced prices and any stocks we are running down for season end.
  • Cordial will be provided free of charge to keep children hydrated while they play in the morning.
  • Assistance will be required from coaches & managers to organize activities for children in the morning.
  • Assistance will be required to cook the BBQ & serve the children for lunch to keep things moving to a reasonable time frame.
  • If your child is due a five or ten year trophy, see Reg or Larry when you arrive to make sure your child has been catered for. Records are kept manually and we are not immune to oversights.
  • Please return any outstanding gear to the club for end of year inventory. Shirts, balls, ID cards.
  • Please be patient, we do our best to run to schedule, everyone is a volunteer and we are at the end of a very long season and looking forward to a wind down and rest ourselves.
  • The committee and helpers will be having a well earned beer at the conclusion of the day. Anyone who wishes to join us is welcome to do so. Remember WCC rules are that no glass is allowed on the facility so canned beer only.
