Team Photographs
The photographs from team photo day have been received. Due to recent winter weather I have not been able to catch up with all coaches & managers to pass them on. I’ll bring them down to the canteen on home games for coaches or managers to collect.

Presentation Day Saturday 18th September
Planning is underway for this year’s presentation.

Five Year Trophies
If your child commenced with Corrimal in season 2006 and have played continuously since they will be due for a five year trophy. Please notify the club to make sure your child’s name is on our list. Club records are maintained manually, therefore errors are possible.

Ten Year Trophies
As above, if your child commenced with Corrimal in season 2001.

Coach & Manager Gifts
In recent years the club has organised items of club clothing as gifts for coaches & managers. We are willing to do the same again this year. To do this we need a parent from each age group to volunteer to collect $5 per child in each team to contribute towards the cost. Please notify Reg Brown, Larry Ciccarello or Dave Swan as soon as possible if your team wishes to participate. Orders will need to be placed after round 18 and monies will be required shortly after.

Karen Bragg writes: “I would like to congratulate our under 16 (1) boys for the great effort that has been put in this season so far, here is a quick update on the journey that our 16 (1) boys have traveled on so far.”

“Unfortunately, we were knocked out of the State Cup by Brookvale, but our boys went on and represented the Corrimal Junior Soccer Club at the Bathurst 7-a-Side Tournament on Saturday the 10th of July and won the tournament undefeated with no goal scored against them.

“They then backed up on the Sunday the 11th of July to play Lakeside in the Grand Final of the Robert Brown Cup and once again the boys came away with a 2-1 win and another title for the Corrimal Junior Soccer Club.

“What a great effort by the boys and our coach Kevin Chilby! As the manager and a parent of this team, I can strongly say I am very proud of the boys and what they have achieved for Corrimal so far this season well down boys and keep up the good work.”
